Course content
After reviewing the basics of continuum mechanics and resistance criteria, the deformable solid mechanics is addressed to the study of problems plans, plates and shells.
Basic Law of the dynamics, stress tensor, strain tensor, constitutive law, linear elasticity, isotropic and anisotropic materials, deformation energy, strength criteria, states plans stress and strain, variational formulation.
Study of thin plates,
Study of shells (shells problem formulation, medium thick and thin shells, axisymmetric shells, bending of shells)
Study of 3D solids.
