This course aims to provide the necessary basis for a comprehensive and relevant vision of design problems in the design of mechanical systems. The general engineer specializing in mechanics must be able to analyze a mechanism to explain its operation, to justify the technological solutions and possibly after calculation, to propose changes to the existing.
Learning objectives
By actual and simple examples of industrial applications from automotive and aerospace, will be treated in this course, contact problems, the study of the links, the choice and dimensioning of associated technology solutions (bearings , actuators, ...) and the transmission power (in particular gears). Keywords: Sizing, mechanism binding, guide, contact, transmission actuator.
